WHO WE ARE
EBOOKSHELF • BLOG • COMMUNITY
We love children and we love stories. Stories that capture children’s imagination, stories with maxims and stories that make the little ones think. And we are moms who are constantly finding fun and creative ways to engage our children in various learning activities.
EBookshelf: The House of Tales has launched by re-writing three of the Panchatantra tales for young children (toddler/preschool/elementary school). The original stories of Panchatantra, built around animals, contain principles of practical intelligence distilled over hundreds of years. They were taught to young princes so that they could develop into effective leaders. Thus the original stories appeal more to young adults. At The House of Tales, we wanted to broaden the reach of these world famous classics filled with wisdom, morals and maxims. These stories are re-written in a delightfully engaging tone and with beautiful illustrations, sure to stimulate your child’s thought process and learning.
Blog: Are you a mom/teacher with an interesting learning activity to share? Are you a writer with your own story in need of a test audience? Are you an author wanting to do an online book reading? Write to us at support at thehouseoftales dot com and we’ll have your article posted.

TEAM
Nivedita Candade (Founder, blogger). Nivi is a self published children’s book author. An engineer by training and a mother of two, her love for children and interest in their learning and development has only grown over time. She is constantly looking for ways to teach her kids values that build strong character, good manners and leadership skills. She decided to begin her publishing journey with stories that are widely popular but never written in a way that appeals to young children. She hopes to impact little minds with these timeless classics and add more books to the THOT eshelf over time.
